Review of Ward 4 written by a patient
9th October 2020

All excellent. The reservations indicated in 2&3 had to do with uncertainity especially about timing. A very minor issue which was never critical. Mainly inconvenient over pick-up time at discharge.

Suggested improvements
Get main appointment times given by post and by phone to agree there appear to be 2 different systems.

Review of Ward 3 written by a patient
9th October 2020

I was only given my meds out of the looked cabinet for the last 3 days. My line finish was suppose to be done on Thursday it got done Monday! When I was told something of one nurse, Like when my nerve block was coming, shifts would sard and the next nurse would not know anything about it, it seemed most things we ask were always passed on to the next person but nothing resolved for days.

Suggested improvements
I think communication between professionals we quite poor, the nurses seemed to never quite know what was happening or when, also with me being on TCT ward, I would expect to have a nurse that knows what my treatment include and how to do it! My mum was ask how to flush my nickname line, as the nurse did not know however.

Review of Spinal written by a patient

The lady at reception was very abrupt and made me feel uncomfortable when she started shouting at me because I could not hear her very clearly when she first spoke to me.

Suggested improvements
Teach you lady at reception how to welcome patients is a friendly manner.
